Aloha and Howdy!
I’m Camryn Byer — Real Food Nutritionist, mom of two, wife, and advocate for slow & sustainable living. I’m here to encourage you to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Having a slow approach to everyday life, consuming less, enjoying nutrient dense meals at home, being present and aware of your surroundings are a few of the things I’m passionate about.
Camryn Byer's Top Nutrition Tips
Become A Skillful Eater.
Becoming a skillful eater means to understand real food and the way it nourishes our bodies. Being able to see past all the confusion and fog in the latest “health” trends.
Consume Real Foods.
These foods should be minimally processed or in their most natural state. Nothing bad added - like trans fat or sugars altered from their original state to make us addicted. Real food doesn't have ingredients, real food is ingredients.
Drink More Water.
Drink a minimum of half of your body weight in ounces. Water is the best source of natural hydration but it also helps flush out toxins. As a breastfeeding mother with one kidney, I’ve always been passionate about the quality of my drinking water and the amount I consume.
Mindful Movement.
Get moving - the right type of exercise can be enjoyable. When you begin to exercise regularly, you will reap the physical, emotional, and mental benefits almost immediately. I personally love pilates, strength training, and going for daily walks outside.
