Stunning Dresses Inspired By Vintage Coastal California with DÔEN
I have a soft spot for beautiful dresses. Over the years I've slowly built a wardrobe filled with pieces that feel timeless, feminine, and easy to live in, and DÔEN has become one of the brands I reach for most often.
What first drew me to DÔEN was their romantic vintage-inspired aesthetic. Their collections remind me of coastal California, heirloom fabrics, garden gatherings, and the kind of pieces that feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today.
I've personally purchased several DÔEN dresses for myself and my daughter over the years, so I wanted to share my honest thoughts on the quality, fit, pricing, and whether I think DÔEN is actually worth the investment.
So far I’ve collected Stanza Dress Fleurs De Provence (my personal favorite), Quinn Dress, Little Nisha Dress, Sera Silk Blended Mini Dress, Ashlynn Dress in Citron Rosier Floral, Kids Emmie Skirt, and a few pieces from the GAP x DOEN collection.
Is DÔEN Worth the Price?
Now, let’s talk about the cons of my DÔEN review. One thing I’ve noticed is that some of their dress styles don’t have pockets. As a mom, I rely on pockets to hold all the little things my kids hand me throughout the day. Makes my life easier haha. I’ve found that some of their dresses can be a bit sheer for my taste. Now, I get it—maybe a slip is meant to be worn underneath. But if I’m spending over $300 on a dress I would appreciate it a bit more fabric.
But overall, I think their clothes are lovely. Most of them are definitely worth the investment.
How To Save Money On DÔEN
Here’s a little tip: buy DÔEN items secondhand or during their sales .I don’t have a personal DÔEN discount code but they have sales a few times throughout the year. Their giving thanks sale happens around Thanksgiving/Black Friday time for past-season styles up to 70% off. DÔEN also has random warehouse sales too. Make sure you’re subscribed to the newsletter for those updates.
I’ve shared a few pieces that I own and some that are on my wishlist. Let me know your thoughts and your favorites from DÔEN.
