My Honest First Impressions of This Luxury Clean Skincare Brand.
Finding skincare that’s both beautifully made and genuinely clean isn’t as easy as social media makes it seem. Like whyyyy is this soo hard?? Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours researching ingredients, learning more about formulation, and trying to find brands that align with the slower, more intentional way we live. There are plenty of products that call themselves “clean,” but once I start reading ingredient lists and looking a little deeper, many of them don’t meet the standards I’m personally looking for. That’s one of the reasons I started looking into brands like True Botanicals.
I recently started using a few of their products, and while it’s still early, I wanted to share my honest first impressions because I know many of you are looking for natural skincare that actually feels luxurious to use. Friends, this isn’t my long-term review just yet. I’ll continue updating this page as I spend more time with the products but so far, I’m impressed with a few things.
Why I Wanted to Try True Botanicals
When I recommend a skincare brand, I’m not just looking at beautiful packaging or clever marketing. *There’s a ton of that out there* I want to know how the products are formulated, whether the ingredients align with my values, and most importantly, whether I actually enjoy reaching for them every day. For me, skincare isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s one of the quiet moments in my day when I can slow down, take care of myself, and create a little routine before the busyness of motherhood begins again. So far True Botanicals feels like a brand that understands that.
My First Impressions
What has impressed me most isn’t one specific product. Even though my skin has fallen in love with their Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm. It’s the consistency across the products I’ve used so far. Everything feels thoughtfully made. The texturesssss are beautiful. The botanical scents are subtle rather than overwhelming. The products feel luxurious while still aligning with the ingredient standards I personally look for.
The Products I’ve Been Using
Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm
This has quickly become my favorite step in my evening routine. Whenever I wear makeup and need to remove it. The Cleansing Balm melts it away, same for sunscreen, and the day so effortlessly, but what I appreciate most is how my skin feels afterward.
My skin feels clean but never stripped. I’ve noticed how soft my skin is too but not too greasy.
Chebula Multi-Corrective Eye Patches
These are ok. I’m not overly obsessed with the eye patches but they are nice to wear while making tea, reading a few pages of a book, or simply enjoying a quiet house before the day gets busy. They’re cooling, refreshing, and leave the under-eye area feeling hydrated but I don't think I would continuously pay $75 for 25 pairs.
Pure Radiance Oil
I do enjoy finishing my evening routine with the Pure Radiance Oil. It leaves my skin looking healthy and nourished without feeling overly heavy, and it gives that natural glow I always gravitate toward.
Is True Botanicals Worth It?
Based on my experience so far, I think True Botanicals is absolutely worth exploring if you’re looking for luxury skincare made with thoughtfully chosen botanical ingredients. That said, I also believe good reviews take time. Rather than telling you every product is life-changing after using it for a few weeks, I’d rather continue testing the collection and share what truly earns a permanent place in my routine. That’s always how I approach the brands I recommend.
